Oh well,

I did not win the pagemaps.com blog content. Oh well, the winner had an awesomely detailed page and really took the concept outside of the confines of the design which I truly never thought to do. It was a very pretty page. Makes me want to try harder for the next one. Christie and I have spent tons of time scrapping. I will have to post some more completed LOs for you soon. I also have some sales projects I plan on finishing--my Twilight albums-just in time for New Moon release, a clipboard for a crop room, and a recipe card lunchbox. I am making a gift album for my gf Aashima who just got back from India. (Waiting on special stickers to come in the mail). And I have several gift projects for Christmas already swirling around in my head. Can not wait until I actually find time to accomplish all of these things. :-)

Page Sketch Content Entry....

I have to say I truly enjoy pagemaps.com as an inspiration for so many of my sketches. I have wanted to enter a contest before but never had time. Well, I finally made the time. Attached is a pic of my take on this sketch for an entry in a contest on their blog site.....www.pagemaps.com/blog

Goal- 12 pages Complete....

Before we talk about my goal. Here is another one of new scrapbook wall art creations. I used the mom's real fabric stiffened into squares and her paint colors to create this art. I really liked it. She handpicked from about 5 designs I wanted to try and then took the pic ahead of time for me. She was thrilled. So was I.

Well, I finally hit a scrapbook goal. Many of us scrappers know how discouraging it can be to become behind. So I set a goal for the 2nd half of 2009. I will have a scrap day once a month with my sister, and our 2 BFFs. So far we have scrapped in June and July and even managed an extra day. I want to get 12 pages or 6 layouts done each time and so far, I had not met that goal. And then came this Saturday. I actually got 6 layouts done (granted the sledding layout was pre-made by my sister and was a handoff-trade for herma-fix refill)--but it counts. Here they are.

I will have to scrapbook more soon. Until then, Keep up the scrapping and don't be discouraged.

Scrapbook Time --finally....

Christie and I as well as my best friend, Theresa, finally got in some quality scrapbook time. The kids were all well behaved and I was so glad I was able to complete my 2nd wall canvas scrapbook creation. What do you think?
